The 2024 AGM was held at the Coltishall Heritage Centre at the former RAF base which is now owned by Norfolk County Council. We were able to visit the offices and hangar formerly occupied by 6 Squadron during the Jaguar years.
the new tenants of hangar 3 are converting diesel busses to electrical pwere and manufacture their iwn battery packs, electric motors and all necessary accessories to complete the conversion. they currently have a full order book and have made a real success of their business.
We were pleased to see that the 6 Squadron badge on the hangar wall has been retained, as well as the Tin-opener logo on what used to be the pilot’s crew room.
