Here are Kaz Yajima and Freddie Nicoll DFC who both served with 6 Squadron, flying the Hurricane Mk IV in Italy and the Adriatic. This picture was taken at the 6 Squadron Centenary celebration in 2014. I spoke to them both recently and they are keeping well. Freddie will celebrate his 100th birthday in November.
We are indeed privileged to still have some WW2 veterans still with us who are able to share their experiences.
