Twelve Association members took part in the Cenotaph parade marking the 100th anniversary of the Armistice. 6 Squadron received a brief mention in the TV coverage.
This was followed by a very successful reunion lunch in the RAF Club with friends and family present. Association President AVM Bob Judson presented the retiring Squadron “Uncle” Colin Thomas with an engraved decanter in recognition of his loyal support of the Association. Wing Commander Billy Cooper gave an update on the Squadron’s recent activity and ongoing busy operational life.
