RAF Lossiemouth “Never Such Innocence” RAF100 Event 7 FEB 2018
RAF Lossiemouth hosts a “Never Such Innocence” RAF100 school and community engagement event on Wednesday 7 Feb 2018. The event is a formal tasking as part of the RAF100 wider programme delivered in partnership with the Never Such Innocence Charity. The event seeks to promote awareness of WWI and to focus on the formation of the Royal Air Force as part of the RAF100 Commemoration activities.
Using arts and literacy work in the local schools Never Such Innocence have been supporting students to produce poems, songs, letters and art work some of which showcased at the event. 350 students from 10 schools across Moray attended as well as local civic dignitaries and key community representatives. The unit was further responsible for creating interactive display material to educate students and guests on the history of the Royal Air Force and our respective Squadrons and Wings.
